Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eder Arias got the match started through his kick off. Pedregosa's Caetano Olveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Prego in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Pedregosa got a freekick which was hit by Leheren Errasti. In the 5th minute, Leheren Errasti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eder Arias came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Guanipa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eder Arias couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes, Pedregosa's Fermin Ugalde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerrold Alva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pedregosa reached it. Jerrold Alva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Ayos in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Jerrold Alva managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Pedregosa's Roque Ayos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd match minute, Guanipa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheche Villachica to maneuver through the defense. When Eder Arias fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanipa FC's protests and gave Eder Arias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Eder Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Roque Ayos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Ivan Prego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Caetano Olveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eder Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Caetano Olveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eder Arias came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Guanipa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eder Arias couldn't finish the play. Ivan Prego took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Olveira. Caetano Olveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Ayos made a kick off. Erramun Riba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eder Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Ivan Prego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Caetano Olveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute Caitano Balanzuela suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Erramun Riba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erramun Riba in the 72nd minute of play forced Guanipa FC's goalkeeper Jerrold Alva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Guanipa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheche Villachica to maneuver through the defense. Jerrold Alva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erramun Riba in the 75th minute of the match. If Erramun Riba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Alva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erramun Riba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Eder Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eder Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Erramun Riba sped through Guanipa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerrold Alva. In the 94th minute, Eder Arias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
