Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guib Romeu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ugaitz Tremiño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 24 minutes, Mikeldi Camba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cubo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikeldi Camba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nevada Anguciana struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Primitivo Acereda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaraquito. Aurre Porregimon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With splendid footwork Pablo Corias arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 30th minute. The supporters of Guaraquito booed when Cubo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beltran Fole didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Cubo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Corias came free, but Primitivo Acereda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cubo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Primitivo Acereda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Corias, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pablo Corias made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Pablo Corias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mikeldi Cambas short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Ugaitz Tremiño to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 72 minutes, Inigo Puerta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cubo FC and the Guaraquito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Cubo FC got a freekick which was hit by Inigo Puerta. If Mikeldi Camba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Cubo FC's Guib Romeu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ugaitz Tremiño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guib Romeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikeldi Camba might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ugaitz Tremiño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikeldi Camba ran back to his position shaking his head. Cubo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
