In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancon FC's goalkeeper Pio Font, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Frera in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pio Font saved Ancon FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Frera in the 18th minute of play forced Ancon FC's goalkeeper Pio Font to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Melchor Frera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pio Font. Melchor Frera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 24th minute Melchor Frera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pio Font saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ofelio Latorre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Pio Font skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 32nd minute, Moises Sopeña made a precise shot to the right of Raulo Calzada. LOS ROJOS F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 35 minutes into the game, Ofelio Latorre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pio Font was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Sopeña in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raulo Calzada saved LOS ROJOS F.C from getting behind. Ancon FC's Pio Font played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Frera in the 42nd minute of play. Ancon FC's Raebert Insausti got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Frera made a kick off. The supporters of Ancon FC booed when LOS ROJOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Avellano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Riguero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raulo Calzada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Moises Sopeña kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Moises Sopeñas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Raulo Calzada to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Moises Sopeña came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ancon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Sopeña couldn't finish the play. Raulo Calzada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Riguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Ofelio Latorre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancon FC's Pio Font was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pio Font took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ofelio Latorre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Sopeña didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-2 via right post in the game's 74th minute. Ancon FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 79 minutes of play, LOS ROJOS F.C's Ofelio Latorre made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pio Font was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Ancon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ofelio Latorre came free, but Pio Font reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Riguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Raulo Calzada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ignacio Riguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ancon FC's Ignacio Riguero in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOS ROJOS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, LOS ROJOS F.C's Felix Avellano got a free kick in the 88th minute. Raulo Calzada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Riguero in the 89th minute of the match. Moises Sopeña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Raulo Calzada made a huge save.
