Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Urbez Olavarrieta got the match started through his kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Urbez Olavarrieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cocorote's Innocenzio Izarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernad Laguardia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Cocorote's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bazil Arduengo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Mocundo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Jofre to maneuver through the defense. Innocenzio Izarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Insausti in the 20th minute of the match. Chuan Cedofeita kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mocundo FC's Calvino Doñez got control of the ball when Bazil Arduengo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calvino Doñez was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Bazil Arduengo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bazil Arduengo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bazil Arduengo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Napier Bureu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cocorote's zone, Urbez Olavarrieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Innocenzio Izarra came out of the goal and Urbez Olavarrieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute Hector Insausti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innocenzio Izarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bazil Arduengo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Cocorote:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mocundo FC:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbez Olavarrieta in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Innocenzio Izarra saved Cocorote from getting behind. Bazil Arduengo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Calvino Doñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mocundo FC's Modesto Jofre got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Modesto Jofre off the ground. Modesto Jofre kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Bazil Arduengo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Efrain Folgueras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Cocorote's Bazil Arduengo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calvino Doñez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Hector Insausti struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Innocenzio Izarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocundo FC. 80 minutes into the game, Raitin Pulido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cocorote's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mocundo FC the free kick. The supporters of Mocundo FC booed when Cocorote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raitin Pulido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mocundo FC's Chuan Cedofeita got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cruz Cumbres hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hector Insausti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Innocenzio Izarra having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bazil Arduengo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cocorote's supporters rose to their feet, but Bazil Arduengo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calvino Doñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Hector Insausti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mocundo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Insausti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anxo Quejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Hector Insausti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mocundo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Insausti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cocorote's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
