The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florencio Vozmediano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Stanislao Balcells got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siraba FC's Gabrio Borrellino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Vial in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Diego Vial got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lizbeth Madera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabrio Borrellino having to make a save. Aires Blanquel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argoitz Mestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Aires Blanquel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argoitz Mestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Garabato FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Argoitz Mestre fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 41st minute, Matteo Ribacoba made a precise shot to the right of Aires Blanquel. Garabato FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Lizbeth Madera came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Garabato FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lizbeth Madera couldn't finish the play. If Lizbeth Madera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Vial to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Lizbeth Madera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabrio Borrellino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Vial in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lizbeth Madera got free with Gabrio Borrellino in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Siraba FC defense, Lizbeth Madera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabrio Borrellino. The Siraba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabrio Borrellino should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Garabato FC's Cayo Ahijado got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Aires Blanquel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argoitz Mestre's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Aires Blanquel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislao Balcells, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Garabato FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cayo Ahijado hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Siraba FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garabato FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
