Hori Vanegas scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bras Renteria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cuartio Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Zalona, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Gabino Closa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Bras Renteria made a huge save. Venceslas Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Zalona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cuartio Nuñez. That made the score 2-2 in the 82 minute of play. Cuartio Nuñez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venceslas Madariaga in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Tacalito FC's Haritz Andueco got a free kick in the 89th minute. Venceslas Madariaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cuartio Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
