Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Idacio Albear made the kick off which started today's match. Idacio Albear's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimo Payon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Gergori Orodea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zamora FC's Herena Andolz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sengrat Pizaño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sengrat Aballe in the 14th minute. Sengrat Pizaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Somellera in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idacio Albear in the 20th minute of play forced Maurica's goalkeeper Dimo Payon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodney Saboya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zamora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maurica the free kick. The supporters of Maurica booed when Zamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pello Arizcun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Belo Viguri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maurica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zamora FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Belo Viguri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Maurica got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Somellera. Dimo Payon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idacio Albear's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Gergori Orodea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gergori Orodea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
A collision led to Zamora FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Idacio Albear hit a great ball. Rodney Saboya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sengrat Pizaño having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Saboya in the 55th minute of play forced Zamora FC's goalkeeper Sengrat Pizaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sengrat Aballe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sengrat Pizaño having to make a save. Sengrat Pizaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Saboya in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zamora FC's goalkeeper Sengrat Pizaño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Maurica's Rodney Saboya in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zamora FC's goalie prevented a goal. Maurica's Rodney Saboya got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rodney Saboya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sengrat Pizaño was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Maurica's Dimo Payon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idacio Albear in the 80th minute of play. When Sengrat Aballe came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Maurica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sengrat Aballe couldn't finish the play. Sengrat Pizaño came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Maurica's Rodney Saboya. But to his dismay, Rodney Saboya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sengrat Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sengrat Pizaño having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sengrat Aballe in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sengrat Pizaño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurica's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
