In the 8th minute, Telo Ricaredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Pirañas defense, Severino Moyuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Verastegui. The Club Atletico Pirañas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Verastegui should have stopped the shot. Kinsen Mori scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Verastegui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severino Moyuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edgardo Verastegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kinsen Mori scored 1-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Verastegui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Verastegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Moyuelo in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Kinsen Mori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Fernado Caroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose-Antonio Ruberte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kinsen Mori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Concejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernado Caroso came free, but Jose-Antonio Ruberte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Moyuelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Verastegui having to make a save. Kinsen Mori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico Pirañas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Kinsen Mori scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Verastegui, making the score, 1-4. Severino Moyuelo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Edgardo Verastegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concejo FC. Fernado Caroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Kinsen Mori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concejo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kinsen Mori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florian Guillamas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atletico Pirañas's Edgardo Verastegui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Pirañas from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Pirañas's goal looked a bit too open when Kinsen Mori came free, but Edgardo Verastegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Concejo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Moyuelo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Florian Guillamas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Pirañas's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Guillamas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose-Antonio Ruberte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
