In the 5thth minute of the game Chago Catiti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardonalito FC's Lohitzun Castropan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chago Catiti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lohitzun Castropan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaen Manterola in the 9th minute of play forced Tiburones's goalkeeper Jimeno Caballero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Vicuña during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tiburones's Santos Vicuña got a free kick in the 10th minute. Garoa Melcon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lohitzun Castropan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Jimeno Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Prados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Cardonalito FC's Jaen Manterola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Caballero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaen Manterola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jimeno Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garoa Melcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cardonalito FC's Lohitzun Castropan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Cardonalito FC from getting a goal against them. Jaen Manterola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Caballero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Chago Catiti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lohitzun Castropan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jaen Manterola made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Chago Catiti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiburones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 62 minutes into the game, Garoa Melcon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lohitzun Castropan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chago Catiti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lohitzun Castropan having to interfere. Jaen Manterola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jimeno Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Jaen Manterola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimeno Caballero. Jaen Manterola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Prados got free with Jimeno Caballero in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eyague Ordoña struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lohitzun Castropan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiburones. Garoa Melcon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lohitzun Castropan having to interfere. Lohitzun Castropan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garoa Melcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
