The referee ignored Montalban FC's protests and gave Gau Tordesillas a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Montalban FC got a freekick which was hit by Gau Tordesillas. In the 17th minute Presebal Zubillaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Katia Breijoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ibar Gurruchaga during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Burguillos FC's Osorio Cueva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Legaspi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavieon Porres to strike the kick off in the second half. If Xavieon Porres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Presebal Zubillaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montalban FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Presebal Zubillaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dalmacio Longoria came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Burguillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Longoria couldn't finish the play. Faustino Legaspi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osorio Cueva in the 61st minute of play. Xavieon Porres struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Katia Breijoo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montalban FC. Osorio Cueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venerando Vielva hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Montalban FC's Xavieon Porres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Katia Breijoo. Katia Breijoo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After having played for 93 minutes, Osorio Cueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burguillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osorio Cueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montalban FC played a much better game than Burguillos FC and deserved their victory. The Burguillos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
