Faustino Legaspi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nesor Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nesor Afonso struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Faustino Legaspi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miralejos. Miralejos's Rico Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nesor Afonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Legaspi having to make a save. A collision led to Montalban FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Piearres Termiñoso hit a great ball. Faustino Legaspi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rico Mendes in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Miralejos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavieon Porres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miralejos's Nesor Afonso got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nesor Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Legaspi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rico Mendes in the 63rd minute. Faustino Legaspi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesor Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miralejos's Hats Brufau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavieon Porres in the 69th minute of play. Hats Brufau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Presebal Zubillaga in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Xavieon Porres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Miralejos's goal looked a bit too open when Presebal Zubillaga came free, but Hats Brufau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rico Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Miralejos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rico Mendes couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Miralejos's zone, Presebal Zubillaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hats Brufau came out of the goal and Presebal Zubillaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Presebal Zubillaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montalban FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ermegildo Heres charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Heres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
