Ovidio Gerica dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 11 minutes into the game, Roldan Ribalta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Angelo Garaizabal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mucuchies's Macias Hondona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Mucuchies from getting a goal against them. Macias Hondona was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Taurino Oropesa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taurino Oropesa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Roldan Ribalta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Angelo Garaizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Garaizabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Gerica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Taurino Oropesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Roldan Ribalta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Garaizabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taurino Oropesa to make the kick off. Ovidio Gerica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ovidio Gerica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taurino Oropesa in the 60th minute of play forced Mucuchies's goalkeeper Macias Hondona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Garaizabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Gerica, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Cambranes Rigues kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Angelino Tormes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ovidio Gerica struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Angelo Garaizabal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mucuchies. The referee showed Elija Alborza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mucuchies eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
