Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fero Lanis started the match with the kick off. Guareguare FC were furious when Blasco Melgosa was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guareguare FC! Isusko Maceira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mingo Salbago firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fero Lanis in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esiquio Malta saved Guareguare FC from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Etxatxu Urbilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jucaira and the Guareguare FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jucaira's Etxatxu Urbilla got a free kick in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telo Ricaredo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Telo Ricaredo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Kaiet Morga struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Esiquio Malta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jucaira. When Fero Lanis came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Jucaira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fero Lanis couldn't finish the play. Fernandez Gancedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mingo Salbago having to interfere. Telo Ricaredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mingo Salbago having to make a save. A hard shot 35 in the game by Isusko Maceira from a close distance when the talented Mingo Salbago managed to make a qualified save. Jucaira's players were relieved. Kaiet Morga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Archibaldo Elorregui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jucaira's supporters rose to their feet, but Archibaldo Elorregui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esiquio Malta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fero Lanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isusko Maceira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Mingo Salbago made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isusko Maceira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Jucaira's Kaiet Morga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esiquio Malta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Blasco Aedo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guareguare FC's protests and gave Blasco Aedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guareguare FC! Ramos Lozano placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Fernandez Gancedo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernandez Gancedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Guareguare FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandez Gancedo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fero Lanis in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esiquio Malta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guareguare FC's goalkeeper Esiquio Malta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, one of Jucaira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Guareguare FC. Jatsu Cintron stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mingo Salbago. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Jucaira's zone, Isusko Maceira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mingo Salbago came out of the goal and Isusko Maceira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Guareguare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fero Lanis came free, but Esiquio Malta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fero Lanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fero Lanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isusko Maceira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
