The referee ignored Guareguare FC's protests and gave Telo Ricaredo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guareguare FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Guareguare FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blasco Aedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Isusko Maceira could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Lertxun Gavito however easily saved by the left post. Isusko Maceira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Lertxun Gavito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lertxun Gavito made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Isusko Maceira sent off a good shot on target. When Blasco Aedo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Guareguare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blasco Aedo couldn't finish the play. Isusko Maceira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 88th playminute. If Isusko Maceira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blasco Aedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lertxun Gavito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
