In the 8th match minute, Ejército de Cristo Rey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maura Urtiaga to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Reynardo Licon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Notes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Felippe Aries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynardo Licon in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarando Notes saved Ejército de Cristo Rey from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Cristos Coria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Las Mesas and the Ejército de Cristo Rey players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cefero Oterino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lordi Dragranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Lordi Dragranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merexildo Entero in the 24th minute of play. Dolfos Urdiales charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dolfos Urdiales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Aries got free with Zarando Notes in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atlético Las Mesas's Reynardo Licon got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Atlético Las Mesas's Felippe Aries made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zarando Notes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Felippe Aries had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zarando Notes. Ejército de Cristo Rey's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felippe Aries was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cristos Coria kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Reynardo Licon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zarando Notes. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynardo Licon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynardo Licon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lordi Dragranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merexildo Entero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Las Mesas's Felippe Aries got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, one of Ejército de Cristo Rey:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynardo Licon in the 77th minute of play forced Ejército de Cristo Rey's goalkeeper Zarando Notes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ejército de Cristo Rey's zone, Reynardo Licon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarando Notes came out of the goal and Reynardo Licon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynardo Licon charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Reynardo Licon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarando Notes having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Ejército de Cristo Rey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cefero Oterino to maneuver through the defense. Zarando Notes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Aries, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Zarando Notes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atlético Las Mesas's Reynardo Licon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ejército de Cristo Rey's zone, Reynardo Licon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarando Notes came out of the goal and Reynardo Licon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético Las Mesas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
