Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Santos Salablanca made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Brun Borrego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Masparrito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bide Zunzunegui got free with Oskarbi Villerias in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zarando Borrajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Munio Sesse in the 15th minute of play. When Brun Borrego came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Masparrito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brun Borrego couldn't finish the play. Aramaya were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Masparrito FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sarracino Monasterio took the corner. The corner led Aramaya's Sarracino Monasterio to fire away a dangerous shot which Oskarbi Villerias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Aramaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarracino Monasterio to maneuver through the defense. Zarando Borrajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munio Sesse in the 27th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Aramaya's goal looked a bit too open when Munio Sesse came free, but Zarando Borrajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brun Borrego in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarando Borrajo saved Aramaya from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Jurdan Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aramaya's Zarando Borrajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Munio Sesse in the 42nd minute of play. Urbano Manrique hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Zarando Borrajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Munio Sesse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brun Borrego struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Zarando Borrajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Masparrito FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Munio Sesse to make the kick off. Aramaya's Bide Zunzunegui got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Masparrito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Salablanca came free, but Oskarbi Villerias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aramaya's Santos Salablanca got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Munio Sesse in the 86th minute of play forced Aramaya's goalkeeper Zarando Borrajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Munio Sesse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Masparrito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Munio Sesse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarando Borrajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Munio Sesse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Zarando Borrajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Masparrito FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aramaya throughout the match.
