He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vereno reached it. Cerrajones's supporters rose to their feet, but Xalvador Zurita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joselito Cieza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18thth minute of the game Xalvador Zurita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vereno's Joselito Cieza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes, Cerrajones's Samuel Mudarra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joselito Cieza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Vereno's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustavo Pablo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 35th minute of the match Porfiro Velaostegui sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joselito Cieza skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Vereno's Joselito Cieza got control of the ball when Gustavo Pablo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joselito Cieza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Pablo in the 40th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Cerrajones's zone, Corderall Barriobero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burni Soler came out of the goal and Corderall Barriobero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortun Payno struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Burni Soler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vereno. 91 minutes into the match, Cerrajones's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Gotor came free, but Burni Soler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Gotor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Burni Soler made a huge save. Vereno's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
