Saturnin Cabañero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gurutz Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Vaya in the 41st minute of play forced Otopun FC's goalkeeper Saturnin Cabañero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Lore Riopedre rounded Mchalaxk sport club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Saturnin Cabañero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnin Cabañero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendebal Govantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Mendebal Govantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mchalaxk sport club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mendebal Govantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mchalaxk sport club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
