Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Guarero FC's Marco Cucho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Farran in the 4th minute of play. Zilar Arrate could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marco Cucho made a huge save. Zilar Arrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayo Goitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Zugarrondo having to interfere. Jorge Farran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marco Cucho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cayo Goitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Jorge Farran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Cucho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lordi Linares fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guarero FC's protests and gave Lordi Linares a yellow card for diving instead. Lordi Linares hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Icaparu's Bernebe Arberas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marco Cucho came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Icaparu's Jorge Farran. But to his dismay, Jorge Farran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jorge Farran might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Cucho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Farran ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Jorge Farran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Icaparu's Bernebe Arberas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernebe Arberas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Icaparu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernebe Arberas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd minute, one of Icaparu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Icaparu. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zilar Arrate made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Icaparu's goal looked a bit too open when Cayo Goitia came free, but Batista Zugarrondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Zilar Arrate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Cucho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romelio Freigido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Batista Zugarrondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batista Zugarrondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayo Goitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marco Cucho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zilar Arrate in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Guillen Segovia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guarero FC and the Icaparu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Icaparu booed when Guarero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillen Segovia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Icaparu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxeberri Malpica to maneuver through the defense. Romelio Freigido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Zilar Arrate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icaparu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zilar Arrate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Cucho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zilar Arrate in the 80th minute of play. Batista Zugarrondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayo Goitia in the 84th minute of the match. Batista Zugarrondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romelio Freigido in the 87th minute. If Romelio Freigido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romelio Freigido might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batista Zugarrondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romelio Freigido ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Icaparu's zone, Romelio Freigido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Zugarrondo came out of the goal and Romelio Freigido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batista Zugarrondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayo Goitia in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
