Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartoli Belon started the match with the kick off. Carapiapa FC's Efrain Dopazo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartoli Belon in the 9th minute of play. Bartoli Belon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Efrain Dopazo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Auarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Pertierra to maneuver through the defense. When Carapiapa FC's Saturnino Basel in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Auarada's goalie prevented a goal. Argi Polentinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Pinto Tros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Carapiapa FC booed when Auarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baumer Omente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Basel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pinto Tros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Argi Polentinos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carapiapa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Argi Polentinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pinto Tros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Dopazo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Furtado Izaga sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Carapiapa FC's zone, Bartoli Belon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Dopazo came out of the goal and Bartoli Belon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Argi Polentinos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapiapa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argi Polentinos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Basel was the one to do the kick off. Auarada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Argi Polentinos scored to the left of an out of position Pinto Tros, making the score, 0-2. 56 minutes into the game, Furtado Izaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Efrain Dopazo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Auarada defense, Saturnino Basel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pinto Tros. The Auarada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pinto Tros should have stopped the shot. When Saturnino Basel came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Carapiapa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Basel couldn't finish the play. Efrain Dopazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartoli Belon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Furtado Izaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Dopazo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Dopazo came out of the goal and Estevon Cañal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saturnino Basel scored 1-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pinto Tros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Dopazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartoli Belon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Auarada's goalkeeper Pinto Tros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argi Polentinos. In the 92nd minute, Argi Polentinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carapiapa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
