In the 8th minute Urepe were awarded a corner. Joaquin Biñe went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Urepe's Blasi Peñalba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Chale Macua elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Xavies Luey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Perico Zaloña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phelipe Rocandio's late challenge caught a Chimarez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phelipe Rocandio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Urepe getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Phelipe Rocandio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Urepe's Hilario Feyjo got control of the ball when Perico Zaloña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavies Luey struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Evis Iruleta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urepe. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Canor Nalda in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evis Iruleta saved Chimarez FC from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Phelipe Rocandio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xever Ramon during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Chimarez FC got a freekick which was hit by Xever Ramon. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute of the match Joaquin Biñe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evis Iruleta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Perico Zaloña scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Feyjo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chale Macua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Feyjo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Canor Nalda in the 67th minute of play forced Chimarez FC's goalkeeper Evis Iruleta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Galoer Chamorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavies Luey struck a weak shot in the 70th minute.
