Costante Reguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Venegas got a freekick which was hit by Adriana Montenegro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Camats in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costante Reguer saved Venegas from getting behind. In the 36th match minute, Venegas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casado Tarsa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Compadron's Omar Carriles got control of the ball when Luisito Valderramal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venegas's Ciceron Trullols got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Venegas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignatius Reyo to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Isaias Cariga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costante Reguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Regato to make the kick off. Compadron's Herminio Regato got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venegas's Costante Reguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Venegas from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Compadron's Herminio Regato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costante Reguer. That made the score 1-1 after 64 minutes of play. A collision led to Compadron getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Xuban Boiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Valderramal in the 73rd minute of play forced Compadron's goalkeeper Omar Carriles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Valderramal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Carriles having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciceron Trullols in the 78th minute of play forced Compadron's goalkeeper Omar Carriles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Herminio Regato kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Costante Reguer. That made the score 1-2 in the 80 minute of play. Costante Reguer was a little too slow when Herminio Regato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-3. When Casado Tarsa came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Venegas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casado Tarsa couldn't finish the play.
