Artal Canal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeru Riguez in the 8th minute of the match. Argina Artaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Zeru Riguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Barquisimeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeru Riguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Zeru Riguez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artal Canal was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Artal Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeru Riguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Piripire FC's Dolcet Amoros got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ostadar Viscon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dolcet Amoros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeru Riguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artal Canal made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Zeru Riguez sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Piripire FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bidun Pallares hit a great ball. Piripire FC's Artal Canal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Piripire FC from getting a goal against them. Argina Artaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Artal Canal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ostadar Viscon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferrer Mar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Barquisimeto made a substitution. Xavon Hermida replaced Argina Artaza. A sloppy throw-in by Esdras Mariaza in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Barquisimeto's Torsten Classon. Piripire FC's Artal Canal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Piripire FC from getting a goal against them. Bidun Pallares kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Xavon Hermida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artal Canal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Piripire FC defense, Zeru Riguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artal Canal. The Piripire FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artal Canal should have stopped the shot. If Xavon Hermida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavon Hermida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iaki Roda got free with Artal Canal in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atlético Barquisimeto played a much better game than Piripire FC and deserved their victory. The Piripire FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
