The tension between the Atlético Barquisimeto and the Pericos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Atlético Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Rendain. Iparragirre Villalpando kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Atlético Barquisimeto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Septiem in the 29th minute of play forced Atlético Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Ostadar Viscon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argina Artaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pericos FC's Rolado Corales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argina Artaza in the 37th minute of play.
