A beautiful save bye Caimital FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jobo Opazo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Chorache Ibarrola made a huge save. In the 19th minute Dalmu Rioseras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chorache Ibarrola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Marcelito Cabaña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caimital FC and the Quibaruco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Quibaruco FC booed when Caimital FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelito Cabaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedroso Torrealba struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jax Tejerizo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quibaruco FC. Dalmu Rioseras might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chorache Ibarrola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmu Rioseras ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedroso Torrealba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Tejerizo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Pedroso Torrealba put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jax Tejerizo. Quibaruco FC's Ivan Villapecellin got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jax Tejerizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedroso Torrealba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordeal Santalla kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Pedroso Torrealba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quibaruco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedroso Torrealba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jax Tejerizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pedroso Torrealba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmu Rioseras to strike the kick off in the second half. Kaxen Martijana hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Jobo Opazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Orlan Noguerol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quibaruco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlan Noguerol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Quibaruco FC's Ivan Villapecellin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jax Tejerizo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedroso Torrealba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Tejerizo having to interfere. Caimital FC's Jax Tejerizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedroso Torrealba in the 67th minute of play. Jax Tejerizo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ivan Villapecellin sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Dalmu Rioseras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jobo Opazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Chorache Ibarrola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chorache Ibarrola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jobo Opazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Caimital FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedroso Torrealba came free, but Jax Tejerizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jax Tejerizo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ivan Villapecellin sent off a good shot on target. Dalmu Rioseras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chorache Ibarrola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Chorache Ibarrola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmu Rioseras in the 94th minute of play. Chorache Ibarrola came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Caimital FC's Jobo Opazo. But to his dismay, Jobo Opazo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
