An unexpectedly hard shot by Nisio Lomba in the 12th minute of play forced Peracal's goalkeeper Medero Payon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medero Payon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Buendia, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Buendia in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Medero Payon saved Peracal from getting behind. After 22 minutes, Chepe Boliaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peracal and the Libertadores FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Peracal's Chepe Boliaga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gil Buendia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Buendia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Xaven Peredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medero Payon having to interfere. Medero Payon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Buendia in the 52nd minute of the match. If Xaven Peredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Medero Payon came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Libertadores FC's Xaven Peredo. But to his dismay, Xaven Peredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Buendia in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Medero Payon saved Peracal from getting behind. Gil Buendia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Gil Buendia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Medero Payon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gil Buendia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Libertadores FC made a substitution. Xofre Chavez replaced Nevada Martines. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gil Buendia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertadores FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Buendia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Medero Payon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candido Frera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Medero Payon having to make a save. After 89 minutes, Gil Buendia made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peracal's Medero Payon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gil Buendia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peracal's Medero Payon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gil Buendia came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Libertadores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Buendia couldn't finish the play. Libertadores FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
