Eztebe Irastorza had several of the Chipororito FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Quico Cillero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hotz Trabado in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ordono Cegama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Dieciocho defense, Orti Horbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ordono Cegama. The Dieciocho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ordono Cegama should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Chipororito FC's zone, Iratze Calva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quico Cillero came out of the goal and Iratze Calva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iratze Calva got free with Quico Cillero in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rey Gudiel's late challenge caught a Dieciocho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rey Gudiel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Rey Gudiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iratze Calva might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quico Cillero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iratze Calva ran back to his position shaking his head. Hotz Trabado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ordono Cegama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eztebe Irastorza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dieciocho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Vasco Bravain scored to the left of an out of position Ordono Cegama, making the score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eztebe Irastorza in the 56th minute of play forced Chipororito FC's goalkeeper Quico Cillero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Orti Horbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Chamorro charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Chamorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dieciocho had won after a very even match.
