If Eztebe Irastorza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Moriche FC defense, Clemente Chamorro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Bajo. The Moriche FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Bajo should have stopped the shot. Ordono Cegama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Alamon in the 36th minute of play. Juvenal Farell was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. Juvenal Farell hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Moriche FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicodemo Lerdo. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Teresa made a kick off. If Iker Sopeña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Hernan Teresa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ordono Cegama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eztebe Irastorza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Bajo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Hernan Teresa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ordono Cegama. Dieciocho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Teresa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rodrigo Bajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eztebe Irastorza, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Rodrigo Bajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eztebe Irastorza in the 75th minute of play. Rodrigo Bajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eztebe Irastorza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iratze Calva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Bajo having to interfere. In the 86th play minute Iratze Calva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Bajo. 1-2. Iratze Calva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rodrigo Bajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dieciocho's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
