Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Caradaro Lope started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Salbatore Iglesia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palos Olabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caradaro Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palos Olabe having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Taica FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Iruretagoyena. After 11 minutes, Hernan Iruretagoyena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taica FC and the CAI Táchira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Taica FC's Hernan Iruretagoyena got a free kick in the 11th minute. CAI Táchira's Caradaro Lope got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 19 in the game by Ermengol Arredondo from a close distance when the talented Yoelvis Tome managed to make a qualified save. CAI Táchira's players were relieved. After 21 played minutes Taica FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Valdeboys. Caradaro Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Palos Olabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorrin Trevino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yoelvis Tome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palos Olabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caradaro Lope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taica FC's goalkeeper Palos Olabe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Adrian Sobera fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAI Táchira's protests and gave Adrian Sobera a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CAI Táchira's Adrian Sobera got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jorrin Trevino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoelvis Tome having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salbatore Iglesia in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Palos Olabe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Caradaro Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorrin Trevino was the one to do the kick off. Ermengol Arredondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CAI Táchira's Yoelvis Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermengol Arredondo in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jorrin Trevino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorrin Trevino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yoelvis Tome breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ermengol Arredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68thth minute of the game Jorrin Trevino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAI Táchira's Yoelvis Tome was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Arredondo in the 70th minute of play forced CAI Táchira's goalkeeper Yoelvis Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Caradaro Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palos Olabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palos Olabe came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by CAI Táchira's Salbatore Iglesia. But to his dismay, Salbatore Iglesia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 84th minute Caradaro Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palos Olabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CAI Táchira eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
