Spectators: 7414 (Terracing: 5561, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 148) Aventazon FC's Gaizka Morua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Gaizka Morua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aventazon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaizka Morua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Iratzeder Pipa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alejandria FC's Ganix Llorengoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aventazon FC's zone, Normando Iturbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iliana Mascarañas came out of the goal and Normando Iturbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ganix Llorengoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizka Morua in the 15th minute of the match. Iratzeder Pipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Iratzeder Pipa came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Aventazon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iratzeder Pipa couldn't finish the play. Iratzeder Pipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iratzeder Pipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ganix Llorengoz having to interfere. Ganix Llorengoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizka Morua in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Roberto Marigorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iratzeder Pipa came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Aventazon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iratzeder Pipa couldn't finish the play. Ganix Llorengoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meder Pintor in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Alejandria FC's Aldomiro Cienfuegos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iliana Mascarañas. Iliana Mascarañas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gaizka Morua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldomiro Cienfuegos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iliana Mascarañas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Raphael Vidaurre's late challenge caught a Alejandria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Vidaurre helped the player get up and apologised. Raphael Vidaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Alejandria FC got a corner. Aventazon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucila Ester ran over to the corner to take the kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldomiro Cienfuegos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Gaizka Morua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alejandria FC's Ganix Llorengoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Dimo Golmayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bordat Morenas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ganix Llorengoz. Alejandria FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Alejandria FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Erasto Ortuño hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Alejandria FC's goalkeeper Ganix Llorengoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iratzeder Pipa. Meder Pintor charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Meder Pintor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Aventazon FC got a freekick which was hit by Meder Pintor. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaizka Morua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ganix Llorengoz. That made the score 1-1 in the 70 minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Gaizka Morua recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ganix Llorengoz. Gaizka Morua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Gaizka Morua might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ganix Llorengoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaizka Morua ran back to his position shaking his head. Ganix Llorengoz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iratzeder Pipa went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Gaizka Morua might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ganix Llorengoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaizka Morua ran back to his position shaking his head. When Porfiro Pardelas fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alejandria FC's protests and gave Porfiro Pardelas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aventazon FC booed when Alejandria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfiro Pardelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aventazon FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
