In the 8th minute, Gerardo Limon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Copeyal's Francis Caraduje didn't even have to move. In the 15th minute, Silban Malla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Limon, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Romildo Padin took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francis Caraduje. Francis Caraduje dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Catuarito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Copeyal:s goal. Nahia Villarmerin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sugoi Aras in the 39th minute of the match. Francis Caraduje made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Velilla in the 43rd minute. Francis Caraduje made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Nicasio Velilla sent off a good shot on target. When Nicasio Velilla came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Catuarito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Velilla couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Velilla to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Catuarito's goal looked a bit too open when Sugoi Aras came free, but Nahia Villarmerin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nahia Villarmerin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sugoi Aras, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Xeromo Mojon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xeromo Mojon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nahia Villarmerin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sugoi Aras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xeromo Mojon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merexildo Zapatero hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Nahia Villarmerin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sugoi Aras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
