Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Mercurio Estebanez made the kick off and thus started the match. Boniel Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Lazaros Giannopoulos struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Orkatz Lebron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico libertad. Atletico libertad's Lazaros Giannopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match Nisio Boñal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Custódio Fantini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Macarizagua booed when Atletico libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Corel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gartzea Subirada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Etor Vilaplana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico libertad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etor Vilaplana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orkatz Lebron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etor Vilaplana in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Atletico libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Mercurio Estebanez came free, but Custódio Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Atletico libertad got a freekick which was hit by Gartzea Subirada. Cilio Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Custódio Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fraco Palmades hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Macarizagua's goal looked a bit too open when Gartzea Subirada came free, but Orkatz Lebron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Arana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Custódio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mercurio Estebanez in the 47th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lazaros Giannopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Atletico libertad's Custódio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferran Salces in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Joaquim Corel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico libertad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macarizagua the free kick. Mercurio Estebanez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Macarizagua's Orkatz Lebron got control of the ball when Urre Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. Custódio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferran Salces in the 58th minute of the match. Orkatz Lebron was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Lazaros Giannopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lazaros Giannopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Atletico libertad's Custódio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferran Salces in the 64th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Atletico libertad's Etxahun Zalona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orkatz Lebron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urre Rios got free with Orkatz Lebron in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Macarizagua's goalkeeper Orkatz Lebron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urre Rios. In the 74th minute, Etxahun Zalona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urre Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Orkatz Lebron made a huge save. Etxahun Zalona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Arana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xzavier Lallera, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Urre Rios came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Atletico libertad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urre Rios couldn't finish the play. If Xzavier Lallera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Macarizagua fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atletico libertad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
