The audience was convinced that Xosepin Vede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Custódio Fantini was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After 12 played minutes Atletico libertad got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Arana. Custódio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepin Vede in the 14th minute of the match. Gartzea Subirada hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Xalvador Saludes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etor Vilaplana, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Javier Ayuso charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Ayuso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Javier Ayuso kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Urre Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalvador Saludes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urre Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xalvador Saludes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urre Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepin Vede in the 37th minute of play forced Atletico libertad's goalkeeper Custódio Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urre Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Xalvador Saludes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Atapirire's Xosepin Vede made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Custódio Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lazaros Giannopoulos in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xalvador Saludes saved Atapirire from getting behind.

Xalvador Saludes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etor Vilaplana in the 53rd minute of play. Tito Inguanzo lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Atletico libertad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute Xosepin Vede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atapirire's goalkeeper Xalvador Saludes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Atapirire's zone, Etor Vilaplana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xalvador Saludes came out of the goal and Etor Vilaplana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atletico libertad's Custódio Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico libertad from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Atletico libertad's Melquiades Arana got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Atapirire were awarded a corner. Gelmiro Tartales went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Sandalio Tafoya managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Urre Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Saludes having to interfere. Joaquim Corel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Saludes having to interfere.
