Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mikelar Fonte got the match started through his kick off. Laffitte Cumbres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arias Santandres, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Plimaya's Xilo Palomares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laffitte Cumbres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Arias Santandres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arias Santandres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laffitte Cumbres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Apariciero FC's Raimundo Cabezas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raimundo Cabezas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Apariciero FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raimundo Cabezas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute, Carmelo Prelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plimaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Abel Acebero's late challenge caught a Plimaya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Acebero helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Apariciero FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Acebero. Laffitte Cumbres acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Xilo Palomares. After having played for 38 minutes, Carmelo Prelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plimaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Prelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Arias Santandres came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Plimaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arias Santandres couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Prelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laffitte Cumbres having to interfere. Arias Santandres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laffitte Cumbres having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gervaso Zorrilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Nalda in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Apariciero FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Odilon Saro hit a great ball. Fidele Cifontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervaso Zorrilla having to interfere. Apariciero FC's Laffitte Cumbres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arias Santandres in the 80th minute of play. If Fidele Cifontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plimaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Arias Santandres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laffitte Cumbres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Clemencin Martel fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plimaya's protests and gave Clemencin Martel a yellow card for diving instead. Clemencin Martel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Apariciero FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
