Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Perfecto Arriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomone Baza, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute, Felipo Aldazabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mannuel Chirghentino hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Canoa's Txema Omaña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Campetoy. Salomone Baza struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Perfecto Arriano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canoa. A hard shot 24 in the game by Peyo Baezabal from a close distance when the talented Xaver Escoto managed to make a qualified save. Canoa's players were relieved. Truylos Ibarguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Perfecto Arriano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricart Peguero in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perfecto Arriano saved Campetoy from getting behind. Perfecto Arriano came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Canoa's Truylos Ibarguen. But to his dismay, Truylos Ibarguen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Truylos Ibarguen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perfecto Arriano having to interfere. Peyo Baezabal struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Xaver Escoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campetoy. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Truylos Ibarguen made a kick off. Salomone Baza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salomone Baza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Perfecto Arriano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Campetoy booed when Canoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cisco Chamochin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Pola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Truylos Ibarguen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Truylos Ibarguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes Campetoy got a freekick which was hit by Ubelteso Conejero. Perfecto Arriano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Truylos Ibarguen went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Felipo Aldazabal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Lugo Portero had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Erlantz Valdeon's late challenge caught a Canoa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erlantz Valdeon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Campetoy's Erlantz Valdeon got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Canoa's Salomone Baza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Perfecto Arriano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Campetoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erlantz Valdeon to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Canoa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
