In the 8th minute, Reimundo Arria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Atlético Yaruros a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Garray in the 22nd minute of play forced Tocoro FC's goalkeeper Romo Buitron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tocoro FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Augusto Seijon hit a great ball. Romo Buitron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskarbi Colmenarejo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Romo Buitron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xzavaier Tabliega in the 35th minute of play. If Oskarbi Colmenarejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reimundo Arria in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romo Buitron saved Tocoro FC from getting behind.

The wind increased when Ler Verde made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gumaro Caraveo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oskarbi Colmenarejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Romo Buitron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gumaro Caraveo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Atlético Yaruros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gumaro Caraveo couldn't finish the play. Serapio Lodero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reimundo Arria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Romo Buitron skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alonzo Garray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Romo Buitron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Atlético Yaruros could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tocoro FC throughout the match.
