An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Txaran Vergara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Corderito FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Errando Villavicencio scored to the left of an out of position Waldir Almeida, making the score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Corderito FC's goalkeeper Waldir Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txaran Vergara. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Camerino Engraba put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Illan Barrios. Illan Barrios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camerino Engraba in the 31st minute of play. Maxin Esterina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Illan Barrios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camerino Engraba in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Maxin Esterina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esteban FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxin Esterina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camerino Engraba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Txaran Vergara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Almeida having to interfere. Illan Barrios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Mañueco in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Esteban FC's Txaran Vergara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Errando Villavicencio's late challenge caught a Corderito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Errando Villavicencio helped the player get up and apologised. Errando Villavicencio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Corderito FC got a corner. Esteban FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ilixo Adarzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristos Orchua tried in the 70th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Illan Barrios a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Txaran Vergara in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Almeida saved Corderito FC from getting behind. In the 77th minute Txaran Vergara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Illan Barrios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Mañueco in the 79th minute. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Loco Mañueco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Corderito FC's Camerino Engraba got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban FC's Illan Barrios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camerino Engraba in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
