Seating: 1708, VIP seats: 0) Jimeno Carabia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Serrajones FC's zone, Garci Lereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Frontera came out of the goal and Garci Lereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Carabia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Frontera having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Serrajones FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Quintero. Hartz Ruales struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Serafino Frontera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarina. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabel Llamazares during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Serrajones FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabel Llamazares. 23 minutes into the game, Garcia Tuero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gaspar Fominaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jimeno Carabia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Frontera having to interfere. When Jimeno Carabia came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Jarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Carabia couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Serrajones FC's Bernabel Llamazares got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Jimeno Carabia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Carabia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafino Frontera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garci Lereira in the 45th minute. Serafino Frontera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garci Lereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Serrajones FC's Serafino Frontera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Carabia in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Jerrold Xavalera made the kick off in the second half. Serafino Frontera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Carabia in the 53rd minute of the match. Serafino Frontera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garci Lereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabel Llamazares kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Jarina's Garci Lereira in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serrajones FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Xavalera in the 69th minute of play forced Jarina's goalkeeper Gaspar Fominaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Jimeno Carabia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jarina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jerrold Xavalera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serrajones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerrold Xavalera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Fominaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garcia Tuero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerrold Xavalera charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerrold Xavalera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerrold Xavalera hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Garci Lereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Frontera having to interfere. Jimeno Carabia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Serafino Frontera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
