Maximo Cemborain's late challenge caught a Palmar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Cemborain helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Panaquire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Cemborain to maneuver through the defense. Harri Lerena struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gaitan Granja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panaquire FC. Palmar FC's Gaitan Granja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foro Rancaño in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 played minutes Palmar FC got a freekick which was hit by Madeo Valderramal. After some careless play in the Palmar FC defense, Foro Rancaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaitan Granja. The Palmar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaitan Granja should have stopped the shot. Panaquire FC's Iraitz Sopeña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Mauriz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Palmar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Pisciña to maneuver through the defense.

Harri Lerena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gaitan Granja made a huge save. Panaquire FC's Iraitz Sopeña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Mauriz in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Panaquire FC booed when Palmar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Pisciña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Mortal charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Mortal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, one of Panaquire FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panaquire FC. After a rather tough play, Panaquire FC's Maximo Cemborain got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Palmar FC's Teodoro Pisciña broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Foro Rancaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaitan Granja having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Panaquire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Favila Biosca came free, but Iraitz Sopeña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madeo Valderramal during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palmar FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Madeo Valderramal hit a great ball. Harri Lerena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Gaitan Granja made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Panaquire FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
