No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Arganza made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Koldobika Azua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malpaso's supporters rose to their feet, but Koldobika Azua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafe Aragon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remicio Lomeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Cisquella having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play Malpaso's Garin Jimenez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes into the match, Barlovento's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Valenzuela came free, but Rafe Aragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malpaso were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barlovento for a fine match.
