Toribio Laincera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Iyan Pelegri struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Fertus Prego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paracajito FC. Maximo Nocedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Goncalve Orsini having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toribio Laincera in the 16th minute of play forced Guanabanal FC's goalkeeper Fertus Prego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iyan Pelegri came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Paracajito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iyan Pelegri couldn't finish the play. Maximo Nocedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Goncalve Orsini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fertus Prego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toribio Laincera, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lorencio Manteca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guanabanal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorencio Manteca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goncalve Orsini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iyan Pelegri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fertus Prego made a huge save. Lorencio Manteca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Goncalve Orsini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Maximo Nocedo made the kick off in the second half. Goncalve Orsini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Nocedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Guanabanal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toribio Laincera came free, but Fertus Prego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Iyan Pelegri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Guanabanal FC got a freekick which was hit by Papo Villasante. Fernanco Maxenchs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fertus Prego. Guanabanal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guanabanal FC's Romeo Loureiro got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 69 played minutes Paracajito FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriz Cienfuegos. In the 73rd minute, Romeo Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fertus Prego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toribio Laincera in the 76th minute of the match. Fertus Prego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iyan Pelegri, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Maximo Nocedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Goncalve Orsini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Goncalve Orsini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Nocedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Paracajito FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Moises Cedeno hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Paracajito FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guanabanal FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
