Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nastasio Cabezas kicked off to start the match. Mon Betardo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Narciso Gort's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Barcenilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Gaudencio Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nastasio Cabezas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Ivan Loginov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Barcenilla. Chinchorrero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Loginov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Josue Truebano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Aimar. In the 28th minute, Mero Zorrilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Barcenilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Gort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mero Zorrilla in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Barcenilla saved Chinchorrero from getting behind. Narciso Gort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Barcenilla having to interfere. Narciso Gort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nastasio Cabezas in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Upata FC's Gaudencio Aimar got control of the ball when Josue Truebano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mero Zorrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mero Zorrilla to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Upata FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kinsen Pedrera hit a great ball. Gaudencio Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bittor Ansola in the 58th minute of the match. Gaudencio Aimar came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Chinchorrero's Bittor Ansola. But to his dismay, Bittor Ansola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Mero Zorrilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Upata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mero Zorrilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Chinchorrero booed when Upata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Loginov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Narciso Gort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Barcenilla was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Narciso Gort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Gort might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Barcenilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Gort ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Primeiro Burbua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Upata FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Upata FC made a substitution. Aaron Franquis replaced Ivan Loginov. Teofilo Barcenilla made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Primeiro Burbua sent off a good shot on target. Chinchorrero's Teofilo Barcenilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Chinchorrero from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Aaron Franquis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Upata FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
