In the 13th minute of the match 韩晨剑 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cebo Monteverde skillfully saved the ball. Aristides Cabezudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cebo Monteverde having to interfere. Paul Torrascasana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viator Finez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudentio Arripe's late challenge caught a Nantes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ixidor Aquejano in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cebo Monteverde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Torrascasana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viator Finez in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Lain Nadal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nantes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lain Nadal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Cabezudo in the 46th minute of play forced Quibor FC's goalkeeper Cebo Monteverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes of play, Nantes FC's Lain Nadal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cebo Monteverde was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Nantes FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bemabe Figueras made a kick off. The Nantes FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Nantes FC's Aristides Cabezudo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nantes FC's Paul Torrascasana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bemabe Figueras in the 71st minute of play. Bemabe Figueras hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bemabe Figueras in the 75th minute of play forced Nantes FC's goalkeeper Paul Torrascasana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Isac Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nantes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cebo Monteverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Isac Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
