The Trincheron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Pozos should have stopped the shot. Delmiro Larrinaga charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Larrinaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Trincheron got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Larrinaga. Leigh Stutz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Guido Pozos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Umberto de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lluterio Erauso in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lluterio Erauso made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Benetton United booed when Trincheron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodio Intriago didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Benetton United's Vigil Caseda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After a rather tough play, Benetton United's Zilar Taranco got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Benetton United's goalkeeper Umberto de Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Maximo Nieto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Pozos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 86 minutes into the match, Leigh Stutz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Trincheron's Guido Pozos. Guido Pozos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Trincheron defense, Leigh Stutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Pozos. The Trincheron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Pozos should have stopped the shot. Benetton United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
