The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baiardo Carriles to strike the kick off in the second half. Lander Balmaceda hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Xines Villaquilambre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baiardo Carriles in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Jaizki Burbua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xines Villaquilambre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Urtzi Eugenio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Pavichima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtzi Eugenio couldn't finish the play. Ortzi Antonijoan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xines Villaquilambre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Gabon Chillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xines Villaquilambre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaizki Burbua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovando Castelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Encalada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
