Spectators: 5890 (Terracing: 4300, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 90) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquin Balaguer started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Cocorotico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aritza Oresti to maneuver through the defense. In the 9thth minute of the game Zigor Barranco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Afonso Zabalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Tu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Fontoya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frans Antezana got free with Evaristo Tu in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karlo Conllas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Cocorotico's Aritza Oresti getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Balaguer in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Zabalo saved Imperio Catatumbo de Lara from getting behind. Zigor Barranco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Balaguer in the 36th minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Afonso Zabalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Tu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Fontoya in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Cocorotico's goalkeeper Evaristo Tu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frans Antezana. Frans Antezana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Evaristo Tu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Tu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafin Fontoya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafin Fontoya made a kick off. Frans Antezana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Tu having to interfere. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Benito Sotorrio hit a great ball. In the 60th minute of the match Aritza Oresti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Zabalo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cocorotico's goalkeeper Evaristo Tu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Zigor Barranco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cocorotico's Zigor Barranco, in the 70th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cocorotico. After having played for 72 minutes, Joaquin Balaguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocorotico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Balaguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Zabalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lehen Crujeiras in the 74th minute. With a little luck, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Afonso Zabalo got control of the ball when Zigor Barranco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Caballeria's late challenge caught a Cocorotico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Caballeria helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Benito Caballeria hit a great ball. Birila Tejeria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Evaristo Tu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara made a substitution. Moncho Conchas replaced Percy Freitas. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's attentive Roberto Aguiar managed to snatch the ball when Meder Obaya made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. After 89 minutes Cocorotico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birila Tejeria who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's corner Birila Tejeria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evaristo Tu quite easily take care of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Serafin Fontoya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Tu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cocorotico's zone, Frans Antezana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Tu came out of the goal and Frans Antezana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Serafin Fontoya made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Tu was left in no man's land by his defense there!
