Joaquin Balaguer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cordaro Falco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Ignazio Moixi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Evaristo Tu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montanita. After having played for 27 minutes, Zigor Barranco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocorotico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zigor Barranco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Balaguer in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cordaro Falco saved Montanita from getting behind. In the 34th minute Joaquin Balaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordaro Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Aznaro Zugarrondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Cocorotico got a freekick which was hit by Vellito Garrido. Cordaro Falco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigor Barranco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
