The referee ignored Guapachana's protests and gave Feliz Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guapachana's Feliz Almeida got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Juaneizu Valls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosalio Ameyugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Guapachana booed when Guariperez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maria Valines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eutor Gimenez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rosalio Ameyugo. Guariperez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rosalio Ameyugo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juaneizu Valls in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Guariperez's Blai Magaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gumaro Ladrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guapachana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juaneizu Valls was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Guariperez getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Giraldo Muste hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giraldo Muste during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Juaneizu Valls got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guariperez's Rosalio Ameyugo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Guariperez from getting a goal against them. If Feliz Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosalio Ameyugo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Juaneizu Valls sent off a good shot on target. Kiliz Legaspe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumaro Ladrada having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guariperez had won after a very even match.
