Johnnie Watson struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Paquito Canel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Excalibur. In the 17th minute, Excalibur's Johnnie Watson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paquito Canel. Paquito Canel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 20th minute Peio Aedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txaran Padriña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fuentiduena getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gutierrre Ontañon hit a great ball. The supporters of Fuentiduena booed when Excalibur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vela Olabarrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Johnnie Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paquito Canel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ongile Laboy in the 31st minute of play forced Fuentiduena's goalkeeper Paquito Canel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Tadeu Bizoso with Gutierrre Ontañon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With his leg Paquito Canel managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Excalibur's Johnnie Watson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Johnnie Watson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paquito Canel. That made the score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Paquito Canel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnnie Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Fuentiduena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxahun Ribera to maneuver through the defense. Vela Olabarrieta hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Fuentiduena's Ereinotz Raña ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Txaran Padriña. Txaran Padriña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 79 minutes into the match, Gutierrre Ontañon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Txaran Padriña, 3-3. In the 86th match minute, Excalibur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonete Villasinda to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jago Regidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuentiduena's supporters rose to their feet, but Jago Regidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txaran Padriña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Peio Aedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnnie Watson in the 93rd minute of play forced Fuentiduena's goalkeeper Paquito Canel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Excalibur's goalkeeper Txaran Padriña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ereinotz Raña. The Fuentiduena players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Excalibur from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
