Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tavio Alcubilla got the match started through his kick off. Ixidor Mollinedo made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Tavio Alcubilla sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Sibila hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tavio Alcubilla in the 8th minute of play forced Guaranaro's goalkeeper Ixidor Mollinedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Gartzen Xavalera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaranaro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duisa FC the free kick. The supporters of Duisa FC booed when Guaranaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gartzen Xavalera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tavio Alcubilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evis Sarabia in the 19th minute of play forced Duisa FC's goalkeeper Mazuste Navarrete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Camilo Sibila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mazuste Navarrete showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilberto Traves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazuste Navarrete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Goicoechea in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mazuste Navarrete saved Duisa FC from getting behind. Guaranaro's Ramiro Goicoechea got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazuste Navarrete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Goicoechea in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Duisa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Traves came free, but Mazuste Navarrete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Gombal Nougaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaranaro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duisa FC the free kick. After 35 played minutes Guaranaro got a freekick which was hit by Gombal Nougaro. In the 39th minute, Camilo Sibila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ixidor Mollinedo was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Tavio Alcubilla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tavio Alcubilla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Tavio Alcubilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ixidor Mollinedo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Goicoechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ramiro Goicoechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Duisa FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Desire Almendras hit a great ball. Guaranaro's Ixidor Mollinedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tavio Alcubilla in the 58th minute of play. If Tavio Alcubilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Gilberto Traves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaranaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Traves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazuste Navarrete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ixidor Mollinedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavio Alcubilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Guaranaro's Evis Sarabia got a free kick in the 67th minute. Duisa FC's Mazuste Navarrete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Duisa FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 75 minutes, Tavio Alcubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duisa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tavio Alcubilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evis Sarabia's late challenge caught a Duisa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evis Sarabia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Guaranaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evis Sarabia to maneuver through the defense. Ixidor Mollinedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tavio Alcubilla's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Ixidor Mollinedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavio Alcubilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute Ramiro Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazuste Navarrete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaranaro's Ramiro Goicoechea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mazuste Navarrete. That made the score 1-1 after 91 minutes of play. With a little luck, Duisa FC's Mazuste Navarrete got control of the ball when Gilberto Traves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guaranaro's Gilberto Traves got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
